Watch Specialist

Kate Lacey joined Rosebery’s in 2022 with over 20 years in the watch and auction industry. She holds a degree in History of Art from the University of St Andrews and a postgraduate diploma in conservation from West Dean College. Kate began her career in the arts working for the National Trust in Scotland before joining the Clock and Watch department at Bonhams London. She was subsequently promoted to Head of the Watch department, and went on to hold directorial positions at Phillips and Bacs and Russo and Sotheby’s. She took part in the record-breaking sale of the original Paul Newman Rolex chronograph in 2017. 
 
Kate has also worked at a high-end watch dealer in London as valuer and buyer. She is liveryman at the Clockmaker’s Company and a member of Le Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève.
